There's nothing quite as luxurious for me as getting up on a day off, fixing a nice cup of coffee, and then settling in for a little listening session of some good LPs playing over the Westminster Royal SE loudspeakers. Today was particularly nice with Dr. Friedrich Schaefer's hand-crafted ASR Basis Exclusive phono stage and Emitter II Exclusive Version Blue amplifier providing the juice.

Today's Fresh Catch is the Norah Jones limited edition "The Vinyl Collection" box set of six 33 1/3 RPM LPs. The records were pressed on 200-gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings and were mastered from the original sources by Kevin Gray.

I'll tell you what, as I've been sitting here listening to LPs and sipping a cup of java, I've been marveling at what an incredible musician Norah Jones is - she is a treasure. Kevin Gray's mastering of the LPs is remarkably good too, he really nailed it on this box set with a rich & natural sounding presentation that puts Miss Jones and her band right in the middle of my listening room.

You will not want to miss this one! Highly recommended!
