Siedy checking in from the Netherlands: The SPEC RSA-M99!

01-24-2019 | By Jeff Day |

It's always a pleasure to hear from my friend, Siedy, and fellow Westminster Royal SE enthusiast in the Netherlands.

Siedy's been having fun listening to the new SPEC RSA-M99, and shared his thoughts with me about it.

I asked Siedy if it would be ok if I shared what he told me with you, and he said "Yes!"

Enjoy!

Hello Jeff!

It is so nice that you are ‘on track again’ on the www! With the help of the people from PFO! So nice.

I liked your posts about 'High Fidelity: Is hifi system voicing a matter of taste?’ very much. In my opinion many listeners and manufacturers are orienting them far too much on the ‘Audiophile-Style sonics’. Also in Munich a lot of system sounded sterile, boring or too artificial!

Lately came at the house of my friend Piet (de Vries) a new amp from SPEC! The RSA-M99.

Looks gorgeous and has a sound ’to die for! The amp is shown on the website of SPEC HERE.

This model replaces your SPEC amp. But this model has very much in common with their top model integrated!

Piet is the Dutch/European importer of SPEC (AudioTweaks), and also helps the nice people of SPEC to be at the High End Messe in München

I heard this lovely amp several times at Piet's place. This week I took this amp to my place to hear it performing with my Westminster. The sound is really stunning.

I made a little review, based on your defined basic elements of music.

I can only say: try to get it at your home! The looks AND the sound is STUNNING!

 With friendly greetings/Groetjes,

Siedy

Many thanks to you, Siedy, for telling me about the new SPEC RSA-M99, and taking time to share your impressions of it!

I'm listening to my SPEC amp on the Altec's right now and it's sounding very good! 🙂

All the best to you my friend!
