Most of you remember me writing about Panikos Kontemeniotis, the music lover & hi-fi aficionado - a man of superb taste in many things - who happens to be the exporter of the New Valve Order designs of talented fine audio constructeur, Andreas Hadjiminas, working out of Nicosia, Cyprus.
Panicos sent me a note telling me about some updates to the SPA-II Version 2 (SPA-II/2), the SPA One, and the coming NVO integrated amplifier.
"The pictures I’ve e-mailed you show the latest changes on the SPA-II/2."
"These include inputs for two turntables or arms that are switchable between input 1 & 2 by means of a toggle switch at the back of the unit, and between MM/MC by a toggle switch at the front as before."
"Similar changes are also planned for the SPA One which will also be fitted from now on with the thicker 10mm aluminum face plate of the SPA-II/2." (the photo below of the award winning SPA One is from the review in Issue 69 of Positive Feedback).
"Soon, I will have some first news and photographs of the NVO integrated amplifier."
That's some exciting news all the way around! As I hear more from Panicos I'll keep you posted on developments.
