In one of our discussions about developing a much needed and more useful audio reviewing vocabulary, Peter Qvortrup (Audio Note (UK)) shared with me his horror about how one of his employees - Alan Willson - who also helps people as a care worker during the coronavirus pandemic, was viscously attacked by a gang of youths while defending his 11 year old son, and is now in the hospital in a coma fighting for his life.
Alan Willson
"We had some horrible news on Tuesday, one of our employees was viciously attacked when he tried to intervene to protect his 11 year old son. Everyone here have contributed to a fund to help his family. I am personally horrified, Alan was a quiet, gentle, and friendly soul who would not hurt a fly."
If you have the ability to reach out and help Alan and his family deal with this horrible tragedy in their time of need, a crowdfunding page has been set up for them HERE.
Whether your amount is small like that of the purchase of an LP, or larger, all donations help Alan and his family during this difficult time, and this is an opportunity for us as an audio community to pull together to show care and compassion for one of our own.
You can read more about this horrific incident HERE.
As always, thanks for stopping by, and please help Alan and his family if you are able to do so.
