Quite a few of you have asked me if I had heard anything about the new Leben 300B and EL84 mono amplifiers that are under development, and I haven't, so I thought I'd inquire of Mr. Yoshi Hontani to see if we could get a status on when we might see them come to market.

Yoshi San told me that Leben Hi-Fi Company's current models are in such high demand that they are running at full capacity in order to meet the orders, so it may be a while before we see the new amps. Given that all Leben products are essentially hand crafted, it's easy to see how they could get overwhelmed with a lot of orders. While I wish the new amps were coming up for release in the near term, I'm glad to hear that Leben is prospering when a lot of other manufacturers are having a difficult time. So you can join me in a patient wait for the new Leben 300B and EL84 power amplifiers.
