It's a great story. Did you know they used the same equipment - Nagra IVs with QGB - to record the album that was used to record Jazz at the Pawnshop?

I was there for the concerts & recording sessions so I was thrilled to hear the album.

They went all out. Recorded & mixed live to 2-track tape, mastered by Bernie Grundman, pressed as a 1-step 180 gram 45rpm 2 LP set. Premium cover and inner booklet.

There were only 3,000 copies pressed. It really captured the feel of a big band going full tilt, along with the excitement of being there at the concerts.

It is sure to become a new audiophile classic record album. A huge "Thank you!" to Gary for doing this for all of us.
