This morning I'm writing the introductory part of the Lefson resistor article for Positive Feedback while listening to music, with plans to write up listening impressions on how the Lefson resistors performed in my Altec A7 Voice of the Theatre project crossovers tomorrow, and hopefully write a summary & conclusions section before the end of the weekend.

I hope to have the article finished up and published in the next week or two if everything goes according to plan.

Something Pete Riggle mentioned in passing about his Altec A7 crossovers at a listening session a couple weeks back gave me another idea to try with the Lefson's in my A5 crossovers, which if it works out I'll tell you more about it in the near future.

While I'm writing, I'm listening to a wide variety of music with a couple of goals in mind.

Duelund DCA20GA in WRSE high-frequency crossover circuit.

The first goal is to get some more run-in time on the new Duelund DCA16GA & DCA20GA crossover wiring in the Duelund CAST crossovers for my Westminster Royal SE loudspeakers.

The Duelund DC20GA, even with no time on it, sounds great in the high-frequency crossover circuits, just as it did with interconnects.

The DCA16GA that I wired the low-frequency crossover circuits with is behaving in more typical tinned-copper fashion, and is going through its initial roughness stage before it settles in.

I'm also tempted to try the DCA20GA in the low-frequency crossover circuits just to hear what happens. One would think that the DCA16GA would be better suited to the low-frequencies, but ...

The second goal is to get some run-in time on the Murasakino Musique Analogue ‘Sumile’ MC phonograph cartridge, while at the same time doing a little comparative listening with it and my reference Ortofon SPU Classic GM MkII stereo phono cartridge.

The Sumile phono cartridge is sounding really nice. It totally blew my mind playing Bill Henderson's 'Live At The Times'. It was one of those "Wow!" moments that sneak up on you every now and then.

If you ever run across a copy of the Bill Henderson 'Live At The Times' single that Classic Records put out some years ago, be sure to grab it, it's really something special.
