I've finished the 30 hours bedding-in time for the Ortofon SPU GTX S moving-coil phono cartridge with an internal SUT, and now am working on writing up the feature article for Positive Feedback about it.
I've been listening to the Ortofon SPU GTX S in my vintage-inspired office system, and it has been incredibly satisfying, so much so that I'm going to ask Ortofon if I can purchase the review sample. How's that for a recommendation!
The Ortofon SPU GTX S in this system has that big, bold, richly nuanced, liquid, and warm presentation of the music that classic SPU phonograph cartridges are so cherished for, but also has the bonus of having an internal SUT designed specifically for it, and it works like magic.
As soon as I've finished collecting listening notes for the Ortofon SPU GTX S in my vintage-inspired audio system, I'm going to give it a spin in my Westminster Royal SE loudspeakers based audio system and collect more listening notes about it there for additional context.
Expect to see the full feature review of the Ortofon SPU GTX S for Positive Feedback in the next couple of weeks.
