I’ve been finding out all kinds of interesting things about Tannoy as I’ve been preparing the Westminster Royal SE article for Positive Feedback Online. By the way, the photo above is of Westminster Palace, once the home of the ancient Kings of England, now the home of Parliament, and the Royal SE’s namesake.

I’ll only be able to cover a small fraction of Tannoy’s rich and interesting history in my Westminster article for PFO, so I recommend you check out an excellent book that gives Tannoy the detailed treatment it deserves: The Tannoy Story by Julian Alderton, Edward Gaskell Publishers, 2004, ISBN 1-898546-58-4.  I bought my copy of Alderton’s The Tannoy Story at Amazon.com, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves history and Tannoy loudspeakers.
