I have a breaking news report to share with you: I just got an email from Frederik Carøe in Denmark and he has some very special and exciting news for Tannoy enthusiasts!

Frederik is building the first set of Duelund CAST Silver Transformers for Tannoy crossovers right now and they are almost ready! (That's the Duelund Silver CAST 6.8uF capacitors above because I don't have any Silver CAST Transformer photos yet).

The first pair of Duelund CAST Silver Transformers will go to Tannoy Westminster Royal SE enthusiast, Jignesh, who is in the process of building a complete set of Duelund Silver CAST external crossovers for his WRSEs - now that's exciting!

A few weeks after that Frederik is going to send a pair of Duelund Silver CAST Transformers to yours truly to review for Positive Feedback Online in a future issue, and of course those of you who stop in at Jeff's Place will get to hear all of my behind the scenes impressions along the way leading up to the review.

Like all Duelund CAST components, the Duelund CAST Transformers will be available in both copper and silver versions.

I don't have any technical details yet, but as I hear more I'll be sure to let you know about it.
