Attend the Pacific Audio Fest 2023 in Seattle June 23 - 25! Part 1.

05-29-2023 | By Jeff Day |

In 2023, post-pandemic life is pretty much back to normal in terms of social gatherings, and I think we are all really happy to get back to doing the things we enjoy, like attending an audio fest or a live concert performance.

For those of us living in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, the Pacific Audio Fest is the BIG ONE we all look forward to.

Expect to see and hear over 200 audio systems at the 2023 Pacific Audio Fest, ranging from the affordable to those dream systems that are well over a million dollars, so there's lots of cool hi-fi kit to check out.

It's time to get ready for the 2023 Pacific Audio Fest in Seattle!

Tickets

You can preorder your tickets HERE and pick them up at the PAF desk on the day of show.

A one day ticket is $20, and a multi-day ticket $35. Advance ticket sales end June 15, 2023, and every pre-fest ticket order enters you in the Amped America raffle.

If you are a student under 18 you can get in for free by showing your ID.

Stay at the Doubletree-Hilton

The Pacific Audio Fest venue, the Doubletree-Hilton by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport, has a LINK up for discount room rates during the show.

A word to the wise, these rooms can sell out quickly, so you'll want to reserve your room as soon as possible.

Hint: If you'd like to enjoy what Seattle has to offer, make arrangements to get to Seattle a few days early, or stay after the show for a few days.

Fly Alaska Airlines

Alaska Airlines is offering a special discount for PAF attendees, so be sure to use this LINK to book your airfare, and be sure to use discount code ECME802.

Attending the 2023 Pacific Audio Fest

After you've bought your 2023 Pacific Audio Fest tickets, reserved your room at the Doubletree-Hilton, and booked a ticket on Alaska Airlines, here's a few tips to make your trip a breeze:

After arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and collecting your luggage, proceed to the 'courtesy vehicle' signs in baggage claim and wait at island one or three for the complementary DoubleTree shuttle to take you to the Doubletree-Hilton / Pacific Audio Fest venue. Look for the white DoubleTree shuttle which displays a large #1 in the front window (see photo below).

The DoubleTree shuttle is complimentary, and no reservations are required. The shuttle leaves the Doubletree-Hilton every 20 minutes from 4:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., and if you need a ride between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., call 206-246-8600 for assistance.

Once you've arrived and checked in, go pick up your tickets (follow the signs), a show directory, and pick up some show memorabilia.

Last year I bought the super cool PAF t-shirt, and for 2023 there are some new designs (above), so I'll be buying another one!

Just so you know, the most popular items sell out quickly at the fest, so if you see something you like on the 2023 Pacific Audio Fest merchandise website, you can buy it now and pick it up at the fest while you're picking up your tickets and show directory.

Ok, that's all the preliminary tasks that need to be taken care of, and in my Part 2 article I'll be sharing more details with you about all the things going on at the 2023 Pacific Audio Fest, so stay tuned for more.

I published some helpful Pacific Audio Fest articles last year to assist attendees in getting ready, and much of the info is still relevant, so you might want to check those out:

You can also read through my post-Fest reporting for 2022 to get ideas of what attending is like, and as fantastic as the 2022 Pacific Audio Fest was, I expect the 2023 Pacific Audio Fest will be even better!
