Just for fun I purchased an Apple TV to replace my the Roku box that I use to stream Netflix media. I hooked my new little Apple TV up via a Toslink connection to my Mhdt Labs Paradisea+ vacuum tube USB DAC. Toslink is not the best way to connect in the digital world, but it's the only option on the Apple TV.

I used one of the superb Robusto power cords to bring the Paradisea+  to glowing life, and all I can say is "Wow!"

The Apple TV absolutely blows away the Roku in video processing, and the streamed content looks convincingly high-rez on my flat panel LCD screen in my Music Lovers System # 2 (makes me think I should rename System # 2 to the Music & Film Lovers System because it does both so well).

The sound through the Apple TV's Toslink connection into the Paradisea+ was much better than I anticipated and I have been having a ball this afternoon checking out some movies and television shows.

If you're needing a last minute stocking stuffer for Christmas I can't think of a better way to spend $99 and bring a lot of joy into your life!
