A New & Exciting Audio Adventure from Yazaki-san: The iPhone Adventure!

03-01-2024 | By Jeff Day |

Afterword

Well, this year marks exactly nine years since I met Jeff-san on Jeff's Place. When I was working at SPEC Corporation, we received high praise for the sound quality of a Class D amplifier called RSA-M3EX, based on Honda-san’s reference design.

Ishimi-san, Jeff-san, Yazaki-san at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest way back when.

Fortunately, at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in Denver in 2015, when I was able to meet Jeff-san in person, I was very impressed by his sincere and humble personality.

There were various exchanges with each other after that, but, Jeff-san allowed me to post my articles on Jeff’s Place, and he kindly proofread my articles and technical essays about my personal audio experiences - my Real-Sound Adventures - a lot of times and published them.

Such creative activities have given me my life purpose in a positive sense after retirement, and have helped me keep my brain healthy and young, I have firmly believed.

Of course, I should be grateful to Jeff-san for this alone, but an even bigger blessing would be that through Jeff's Place, I have been able to meet a lot of kindred spirit all over the world through Jeff’s Place on the internet and the facts gave me energy and courage for living.

Here, I would like to mention the names of some of them and also express my gratitude:

I would like to introduce you a young friend of mine in Thailand, Nattawut-san, who is a great tube amp builder.

Adrian-san always orders large quantities of Ultimate Ruby Mica from Hong Kong.

In Australia, there's Craig-san, my PX25A mono SET user.

Cuneyt-san in Turkey who loves the sound of RSA-F33REX, WE16GA, and BELDEN8402.

In the USA, I have Alan-san, my best friend and a person who understands me the most.

Then there's James-san, who dedicates his life to exploring tube amplifiers just like me.

Christopher-san from Jupiter Condenser has developed amazing parts full of his great passion.

Manuel-san in Puerto Rico who loves much 70’s Japanese jazz.

In Italy, Daniele-san who is working on making his own tube phono EQ, aiming to create the best phono EQ.

In Poland is Ryszard-san, who loves my modified Model 7 and PX25A mono SET.

There is Richard-san in the UK who enjoys using own modified tube pre amplifier and power amplifiers.

I haven't heard from him recently, but I wonder how Sigurd-san from Norway, who loves the WE 300B SET, is doing.

I'm worried about Alexander-san from Ukraine. For the last two and a half years, he had been enjoying the wonders of WE16GA and Ultimate Ruby Mica with his friends.

In addition, I have been fortunate to receive various inquiries from a lot of people all over the world. Anyways, what a wealth of human relationships I have, which were given throughout the world. Thank you again my friends!

The person who offered me such opportunity was Jeff Day himself. That's why I would like to present this latest Improved U4 to Jeff-san as a token of my endless gratitude.

Also, for dear readers of Jeff's Place, I am here to inform you that a whole new and rich world of music sources is already opening up before our ears. And I would be more than happy if this could be of any help to you.

Well, thank you very much for reading this far!

Wow! Wow! Wow!

I love DIY projects, and Yazaki-san is a master of innovatively blending the best of vintage and new design ideas into affordable DIY projects that are immensely satisfying.

Many thanks to Yazaki-san for his kind words, and all of his projects and articles, which have a been a source of inspiration to me and countless others.

I am very excited to participate in Yazaki-san's iPhone Adventure, and to hear the Improved U4 that Yazaki-san is sending to me.

Thank you so much for sending the Improved U4, Yazaki-san, and I shall look forward to its arrival, and sharing my listening experiences with you, your fellow iPhone Adventure friends, and all the readers here at Jeff's Place.

As always, thanks for stopping by, and may the tone be with you!
