After my post Listening to the Maestro’s VOTTs this morning … and other stuff! Gary (Gary Fischer Loudspeakers) sent me a couple of nice photos of the completed Altec Lansing A5 Voice of the Theatre loudspeakers.

After the A5's arrive here at Jeff's Place, I'll do some closeups so you can get a nice view of everything.

As the A5 VOTT project proceeds, I'll be providing you ongoing reports of listening impressions, as well as reports on hot-rod crossovers as we develop them.

The project team for the upcoming hot-rod development work will be Yazaki-san (SPEC), Daryl (Arizona Capacitors, nee West Cap), Gary (Electro Technik Industries, Tepro), and of course, Ron & myself.

I'll also be interviewing Gary about the details of his restoration process, and of course how to reach Gary in case you'd like to order a pair of A7 or A5 Voice of the Theatre loudspeakers of your own.
