It's always a great evening of fun & games when Stephaen Harrell (6Moons) and Pete Riggle (Pete Riggle Audio Engineering) host the Annual ANVIL Awards celebration, and the fun continued in 2015!

In case you’ve never heard of the the ANVIL Award, it’s the ultimate annual audio award for the Audiophile Not Very Intelligent Lately, and is a just for fun audio equivalent of the cherished Ig Nobel Prize in the scientific community. Yes, we take ourselves very seriously!

In the photo below, second from left, is "My Last Pair of Speakers" Harry, last year's ANVIL Award winner. Every six months or so, Harry gets a new pair of loudspeakers, and it's always "My Last Pair of Speakers". Go, Harry, go!

Ron's a massively talented guy, a life-long audio nut, a musician, and as you know if you've been following along here at Jeff's Place, an expert on vintage gear, and a god with a soldering iron!

Ron has many rooms of fine listening systems set up at home and a bunch in storage too. Yes, he's got it bad! Kudos to Ron-san!

It was a fun evening of friends, music, great food, plenty of fine beverages, with a little audio mixed in, at the 2015 Annual ANVIL Awards celebration - a great time was had by all!
