It's always nice to hear from Danny Bar. This time Danny's adventures have taken him to Poland, where he shot some great photos in Warsaw and Krakow.
Danny used his Leica M9 camera plus Summicron-M 50mm f/2 lens for the color shots, and I love they way they look.
I've shot lots of very nice photos with my M9 plus Summicron-M 50mm f/2 lens combination in the past, and I was always impressed with the expressiveness of that combination. Look at the gorgeous colors and textures Danny got in these shots!
Danny's photos are really wonderful, and I really love what the M9 plus Summicron-M 50mm f/2 lens combination does for those color scenes!
Danny used his Leica M Monochrom camera and Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH lens for some terrific black & white shots.
The rendering of the scenes with the Leica M Monochrom is amazing!
Krakow is a scary place, reminds me a lot of Dachau when I visited there.
The photos Danny shared with us in previous posts using his M9 and Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH lens combination ended up prompting me to get a Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH lens of my own.
These photos using the Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH lens in combination with the Leica M Monocrom are really spectacular!
Beautiful!
If you've never had the opportunity to shoot photos with a Leica M camera and lens combination, I suggest instead of that next audio purchase you pick up a Leica M camera & lens combination and do a little travel and take some photos, you'll be glad you did!
Many thanks to Danny for sharing his great photos of Poland!
