I've heard good things about the restored vintage AR and Thorens turntables from Vinyl Nirvana, so I thought I'd let you know about them so you could check them out if you are looking for a nicely done vintage turntable at a fair price.

Pictured in the photo above is a "Thorens TD-160 Super Reproduction, new SME M2-9 arm, custom zebrawood plinth, $1995 plus shipping" (from the website).

I appreciate the vintage craftsmanship, and I sure do think that vintage turntables are beautiful to look at with their wood plinths!
