I've had the good fortune to spend almost every Christmas Holiday with my Mom (Jaine) and Dad (Jack).

Last year after a brief illness, at age 92, we lost Dad just before Christmas, so neither Mom or I were much in a Christmas mood in 2015.
This year Mom and I celebrated Christmas together, and we had a real nice time, but we sure did miss Dad!

The Westminsters served as Christmas trees, and there were lots of presents under the 'tree' for Mom.

After opening the first round of presents, yours truly, the chef for the day, had Christmas dinner all ready, so we sat down for a nice meal together.
After dinner we started round two of opening presents, and Mom gave me some terrific jazz albums! (about which I'll have more to say in a future post)
I had Mom sign each of the jazz albums she got for me for sentimental reasons!
We had fun listening to the new jazz albums and some old Christmas albums!
